Using the water level measuring system PS-Light-2, water levels in surface waters can be surveilled highly precise at low costs. The water level is measured using the bubbler technique.

The interval operation and the intelligent pump control lead to a low energy consumption and enable a stand-alone power supply using a 12 V battery or a solar module. This also makes a quasi-online-mode, i.e. 1 minute measuring interval at a 10 minute data transmission interval, possible.

The PS-Light-2 can optionally be combined with a GSM / GPRS – Modem for a secure wireless data transmission. This makes an easy data management via the WASDatenportal possible. Alternatively, the data can be pushed to an FTP-server.
